Gross area is not usable coverage. Curves, cutouts, hatch lids, stripe alignment and edge trimming create waste.

Total square footage alone cannot tell you which sheet width to buy. A project may have enough total area on paper but still contain a panel wider than the selected sheet.

  1. List the length and width of every planned panel.

Divide 29.9 by 15.4875 to get about 1.93, then round up to 2 sheets. This is an initial area estimate, not a fit guarantee or a universal waste allowance.
