PoseidonDeck closed-cell EVA foam flooring is designed for measured DIY boat-deck upgrades, with a textured surface for underfoot traction and cushioning. Grip, surface temperature, appearance and service life vary with water, contaminants, color, sun exposure, installation, use and care.

Why Choose PoseidonDeck

Description

Solid Color EVA Foam Boat Flooring is a 6 mm closed-cell EVA foam sheet for cut-to-fit DIY deck upgrades. The uniform surface is suited to minimalist boat interiors, accent areas and projects where a clean single-color finish is preferred.

Important: This is a universal cut-to-fit sheet, not a model-specific pre-cut flooring kit. Measure the actual installation area before selecting a size.

Why Choose This EVA Flooring Sheet

  • 6 mm closed-cell EVA foam: Adds cushioning and helps reduce everyday deck noise. The closed-cell construction resists routine water exposure, while surface temperature and long-term appearance still vary with color, sunlight, use and care.
  • Easy to measure and cut: Trim the sheet into planned deck sections with a sharp utility knife or suitable cutting tool. Dry-fit every piece before exposing the adhesive.
  • Two adhesive choices: Select the PoseidonDeck adhesive or the available 3M adhesive option. Install only on a stable, smooth, clean and fully dry prepared surface.
  • Simple solid-color layout: A uniform finish can make panel planning and color coordination easier for DIY projects.
  • Sectional replacement: When the deck is divided into sensible panels, a damaged section can be replaced without recovering the entire boat.

Common Applications

Suitable prepared areas can include pontoons, bass boats, jon boats, fishing boats, motorboats, swim platforms, yachts and kayak decks. Compatibility depends on the actual substrate and installation conditions.

Available Sheet Sizes

94.5 × 15.7 in, 94.5 × 23.6 in, 94.5 × 35.4 in and 94.5 × 46.2 in. Choose a width that gives practical coverage while leaving material for trimming, alignment and seam planning.

Before You Install

  1. Measure the deck and plan the cut layout.
  2. Repair any unstable coating or structural problem first.
  3. Clean and fully dry the installation surface.
  4. Cut and dry-fit each section.
  5. Peel the liner gradually, align carefully and apply firm pressure across the full surface.

Before bonding material to the boat, review the EVA foam boat flooring problems guide and the DIY installation guide.
