Description

Classic Faux Teak EVA Foam Boat Flooring is a 6 mm closed-cell EVA foam sheet with classic faux-teak striping for cut-to-fit DIY boat-deck upgrades. Classic two-color combinations create a teak-inspired look for pontoons, cockpits, swim platforms and other prepared marine deck areas.

Important: This is a universal cut-to-fit sheet, not a model-specific pre-cut kit. Measure the usable installation area and plan your layout before selecting a variant.

Key Features

6 mm closed-cell EVA foam: Adds cushioning and a softer feel than a bare deck surface while helping reduce everyday deck noise.
Textured surface: Designed to add traction in normal marine use. Grip varies with water, dirt, footwear and other real-world conditions, so keep the surface clean and test footing in your environment.
Cut-to-fit format: Create a template, trim with a sharp utility knife and dry-fit every section before removing the release liner.
Adhesive choice: Select Self-developed Adhesive or 3M Adhesive from the options shown above. Install only on a smooth, clean and fully dry prepared surface.
Routine care: Rinse with fresh water and use mild soap with a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush. Avoid solvents, harsh chemicals and concentrated high-pressure washing near seams and edges.

Surface Preparation & Installation

Measure the deck and create a paper or cardboard template.
Make sure the substrate is smooth, clean and fully dry. Suitable examples include properly prepared fiberglass, sealed plywood and prepared aluminum.
Transfer the outline, cut with a sharp utility knife and dry-fit every piece.
Peel the liner back gradually while aligning the sheet; avoid stretching the foam.
Press firmly across the full surface, especially along seams and edges.
