Yes. This 6 mm adhesive-backed EVA foam sheet can be cut into deck panels for a DIY upgrade on a stable, smooth, clean and dry prepared surface.

• 6 mm closed-cell EVA foam: Adds cushioning and a softer feel than a bare deck surface while helping reduce everyday deck noise.
• Textured surface: Designed to add traction in normal marine use. Grip varies with water, dirt, footwear and other real-world conditions, so keep the surface clean and test footing in your environment.
• Cut-to-fit format: Create a template, trim with a sharp utility knife and dry-fit every section before removing the release liner.
• Adhesive choice: Select Self-developed Adhesive or 3M Adhesive from the options shown above. Install only on a smooth, clean and fully dry prepared surface.
• Routine care: Rinse with fresh water and use mild soap with a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush. Avoid solvents, harsh chemicals and concentrated high-pressure washing near seams and edges.

How do I install adhesive-backed EVA boat flooring?

Template, cut and dry-fit each panel first, then bond it to a properly prepared, fully dry deck and press firmly across the entire panel.

1. Measure the deck and create a paper or cardboard template.
2. Make sure the substrate is smooth, clean and fully dry. Suitable examples include properly prepared fiberglass, sealed plywood and prepared aluminum.
3. Transfer the outline, cut with a sharp utility knife and dry-fit every piece.
4. Peel the liner back gradually while aligning the sheet; avoid stretching the foam.
5. Press firmly across the full surface, especially along seams and edges.

• Screen settings and lighting can affect color appearance. Contact support before ordering if a close match is important.
• In-stock sheets normally dispatch within 1–3 business days. Delivery begins after dispatch; current shipping methods and estimates are shown at checkout.
• Non-quality returns, exchanges and refunds are generally not accepted. Damage, a wrong item or missing contents must be reported within 7 calendar days of carrier-confirmed delivery and before cutting, peeling, installing or otherwise altering the product.

How many EVA flooring sheets do I need for my boat?

Calculate quantity from a cut layout of each deck section, rather than boat length or total square footage alone. Allow for trimming and pattern alignment, and keep hatches, drains and service access clear.

For example, a rectangular 94 × 44 in panel fits within one 94.5 × 46.2 in sheet before trimming allowance. A 100 × 44 in panel needs a planned seam or a different panel layout because it exceeds the sheet length. These are planning examples, not a fit guarantee.

Can I replace boat carpet with these EVA foam sheets?

Yes, if you remove the old carpet and adhesive residue and restore a stable, smooth, clean and fully dry deck before installing the EVA sheets. Repair damaged flooring first; EVA foam is a surface covering, not structural decking.

Is this a pre-cut kit for my boat model?

No. This product is a universal sheet that you measure and cut to fit your boat. Paper or cardboard templates can help you plan curved edges and hatch openings before cutting.

Can I install EVA flooring over textured non-skid or diamond plate?

Do not assume that adhesive-backed EVA sheets will bond reliably over raised or uneven texture. Contact support with photos of the deck before ordering; surface preparation and the actual contact area determine whether the installation is suitable.

Can I check the color and material before covering my whole boat?

Choose the smallest available sheet if you want to evaluate the real color, texture and material before a larger order. PoseidonDeck does not currently offer separate free sample swatches, and screen images can differ from the actual color.
